Quality and emotional Design
Every product is designed with the hope of evoking a strong emotional connection to the person who buys it, wears it, takes impeccable care of it, and who will hopefully pass it forward as a precious piece to be cherished. Our aim is to prolong the life of each product by incorporating quality and emotional attachment into each garment. We make sure to keep a high standard of quality in each step of our production process. All the collections are developed and designed in Berlin and made in Europe. All the materials that we use are certified, sustainable and mainly produced in Italy and Turkey by companies who are also as dedicated to sustainability as we are.
We believe that strong relationships between us and our suppliers, producers and buyers are one of the most important keys to keep our products of the highest quality. If you are interested in any step of the production, the origin of our materials or the likes, please do not hesitate to send us your questions and we will be more than happy to answer.
Zero Waste System
The focus of Farrah Floyd is systematic zero-waste pattern drafting. All of the pieces are made using this special technique, which was developed and devised over many years by designer herself. The idea around this system is that every pattern piece is a rectangle of different dimensions, all fitting together in a grid like fashion across the entire width of the fabric so that no waste is leftover. When the pieces are put together, fitted and manipulated on the female figure, Farrah Floyds products form a unique, interesting silhouette – an item of clothing like you’ve never seen before.
